Job Description

Position: Quality Technician; 12 months Renewable Contract
Venue: Lab Environment (West)/ Bendemeer
Working Hours: Monday-Friday Office working hours

Summary:
Responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
-Execute validation test plan on SSD devices on PC systems.
-Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
-Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality, recommends and implement test coverage improvement actions.
-Perform Failure analysis and work with other function groups to resolve SSD system issues.
-Provide system or SSD analysis support for customer.
-Able to communicate well and work as a team.

Job Requirements

-Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent related field/ experience is preferred
-Experience working with PC/Notebooks/Workstation (PC Setup, PC troubleshooting)
-Working experience in either SSD or HDD industry would be an advantage
-Experience with NVMe storage interface protocols and Windows/Linux Operating Systems
-Knowledge of storage device drivers and/or PCIE chipset register configurations would be beneficial
-Experience using PCIe/NVMe bus analyzers and oscilloscopes would be beneficial
-Conduct inspections and troubleshooting at customer sites.
