Operations Assistant (Food Checker)

Operations Assistant (OA) will report directly to Catering Supervisor (Pre-set) and his/her duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1.Collect, build up the carts and check First Class (FRCL), Business Class (BCL), Economy Class (EYCL) meals, Special Meals (SPML), beverages and other Inflight items for uplift to aircraft according the airlines’ requirements; 2.Perform pick confirm on Infolog upon the collection of all items from Food Bank, Sub-store, and Bakery; 3.Collect from Supplies the items listed in Non-Rechargeable Multi-ltem Stores Requisition Forms; 4.Mark all FRCL and BCL food items indicating flight number and content; to store them with the economy class meal in the Holding Refrigerators; 5.Check all the airline carts (inclusive of FRCL, BCL and EYCL preset trays and SPML) and bulk items to ensure uplift according to airlines’ requirements; 6.Coordinate with Catering Control and make final adjustments according the final passenger load; 7.Prepare additional meals for FRCL, BCL and EYCL if loading has not commenced; 8.Ensure that equipment set comply with the correct Equipment Load Plan; 9.Ensure adherence to HACCP and all food safety procedures and food hygiene; 10.Use the SQ/SATS Handover Forms and handover directly to the cabin staff for SQ/OAL flights where they do the handover on-board; 11.Load and unload of Catering items into and off aircraft according the Galley Loading Plan and is in charge of the galley loading for the galley assigned; 12.Ensure that equipment set is completely and correctly loaded in various galleys at aircraft; 13.Check meals with cabin crew on board the aircraft before handing over all food and store item to crew; 14.Co-ordinate last minute additional meals uplift; 15.Obtain crew signature on checklist and supply documents and submit these to Control Centre at the end of the shift; 16.Ensure the work area is tidy/clean and all bins are returned to their designated areas after each airline’s groundwork; 17.Dispose of rubbish and carton boxes at their designated areas; and 18.Follow safety and health procedures at your workplace; oNot endanger yourself and your colleagues; oNot tamper with safety devices, or perform wilful or reckless acts; oReport unsafe work conditions, behaviours and workplace incidents (regardless of whether an injury has taken place); and oProvide suggestions to improve safety and health at work 19.Any other duties assigned or instructed by the officer
