IT Operator

Job Description

- Perform daily system checks on customized Windows programs and servers to ensure smooth operation of security printing processes.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting on the file processing and escalating any issues or errors to the relevant teams (e.g., System Administration, Development) according to operational guidelines.
- Maintain and update all operational documentation, including process guides and error logs.
- Attend and participate in knowledge transfer sessions conducted by internal and external stakeholders to stay current on system updates and new procedures.
- Provide support to system administrators during server-related tasks, such as logging in to servers for program execution.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

- Good command of English and Mandarin to effectively liaise and communicate with various project teams, internal stakeholders, and reporting managers.
- Possess at least a NITEC/Higher NITEC qualification or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and a strong aptitude for working with technology.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Comfortable with committing to after-office-hours work as and when required to support operational needs.
- Experience with or a willingness to learn about data processing, file conversion, and directory management is a plus.
