Business Development Manager (UPS)

Job Description

INFORMATION:

Provide technical support on product offerings and solutions to the customers.
Ensure proposed solution meets the local authority requirements, and accordingly to tender specifications.
Work closely with consultants, integrators/ contractors, and distributors to offer customers.
Plan and manage pre-sale activities including pricing, material specifications study and out-sourcing works.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Work with consultants, integrators/ contractors, and distributors to offer customers.
Plan and manage pre-sale activities including pricing & material specifications study.
Study and proposes alternative solutions, specifications deviation from inquiry documents.
Work on project tender specifications, attend site for survey and assist integration proposal.
Discuss with inquirers on specifications change especially on installation design.
Generate project cost estimation, identifies new vendors / suppliers / contractors for optimum cost.
Work with sales team to generate detailed project proposals, quotations & technical documents.
Identify customer needs by focusing on promotional activities/ target group/building project pipeline.
Plan, execute marketing engagement for the target group to identify new business opportunities.
Work with vendors to provide competitive solution and identify opportunities for business growth.
Provide report of promotional activities and sales leads/forecast to share market intelligence.
Conducting regular training seminars in conjunction with product marketing managers.

WORKING HOURS / LOCATION
5 day work week
8.30am to 5.15pm
Location in Jurong

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering,
At least 6 years of relevant experience;
Knowledge in power products, e.g. Power Systems, UPS systems, switchgear, voltage components.
Understand architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints and electronic control systems.
Knowledge in site installation works and requirements preferred.
